ETM is committed to improving the communities where employees live, work and play. It is a prominent characteristic of the company culture and it is especially evident during the holiday season when charitable giving has become an annual tradition. An eager group of ETM employees, from administrative to top-level executives, come together every year to volunteer on the ETM Holiday Committee and determine which non-profit charities the company will support.
Every year the company chooses to support the Salvation Army Toy Drive helping to ensure that children, aged infant to 12-year-old, get something on Christmas morning.
This year was no exception. But added to the list of 2016 charities was the Halloween fundraiser benefitting K-9s for Warriors™ and the Thanksgiving fundraiser supporting the Lutheran Social Services Backpack Program, aimed at providing meals and snacks for the weekend, when school meals are not available. This year, ETM delivered a check for $1500 to the K-9 for Warriors program and employees overfilled three barrels of food for the Lutheran Social Services Backpack Program.
A goal of ETM’s holiday committee is to ensure that the charitable giving is fun for its employees by introducing a little competitive spirit into each fundraising effort. The competition usually pits department against department to determine which is the most charitable. But regardless of which department wins the official bragging rights, there is no shortage of participation or generosity from any department. ETM employees are all winners when it comes to their enthusiasm and charitable giving during the Holidays and all year long.Back to News
