JEA selected ETM in 2011 through the Competitive Consultants Negotiation Act process to perform the design and CEI related services for its Riverside/St. Johns Avenue Water Main Improvement project.  The project entailed replacing over 11,000 LF of aging 8” cast iron water main with 12” fusible PVC utilizing a relatively new trenchless technology called Pre-Chlorinated Water Main Pipebursting.  Other unique aspects of the project included: narrow, urban, high traffic count FDOT corridor; numerous high-profile stakeholders and community groups; aging and unknown utility infrastructure including gas, storm, fiber, telephone, abandoned water and sanitary sewer.  ETM managed virtually all aspects of the project from design through project acceptance.  The $4.5 million project was completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
