ETM is completing the civil engineering design, including site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, and permitting for the soon-to-be-developed five-star Four Seasons Hotel & Residence in the Jacksonville Shipyards, a blend of urban design and waterfront entertainment Downtown.
Jacksonville’s Downtown Development Review Board (DDRB) met on Thursday, Oct. 12. The board reviewed and granted conceptual and final approvals for several projects including the five-block Pearl Street District multi-phase plan included in the proposed Gateway Jax development which was first announced in September.
Gateway Jax, the proposed $500 million mixed-used development in Downtown’s North Core, received final approval from the Downtown Development Review Board on Oct. 12 for its Pearl Street District multiphase site plan and conceptual approval for three blocks within the development.
A project that looks to add 1,000 multifamily units and thousands of square feet of retail space to downtown Jacksonville’s North Core is just the first step in what the developers say could be valued at $2 billion worth of work over the coming decade.
The new FIS corporate headquarters at 347 Riverside Ave. could be called Jacksonville’s newest office building.Â
