This project is located along Old Plank Road, west of Halsema Road and east of Bea Lane in Jacksonville, Florida. The existing outfall for Old Plank discharges to the north into a wetland area. Our team designed a stormwater pond north of Old Plank Road to re-establish the existing roadside drainage ditches and swales to reduce flooding along Old Plank by 6 to 18 inches and allow the roadway to be passable during a 25 year/24 hour storm event. Our team is providing engineering and permitting services for this much needed drainage project.
